“Oceans 12″ beauty Julia Roberts is set to be make-up giant Avon’s spokesmodel this week, after being dropped as the face of cosmetic company Christian Dior, according to a published report. Just a month after she was dropped as the face of Christian Dior make-up, the actress and mother of two is ready to agree a $2m to $4 million (€1.6m to €3.1m) deal with Avon, reports PageSix.com.

The star - who is currently starring in the hit Broadway show, ‘Three Days Of Rain’ - was in negotiations to be the face of a new perfume due to be launched next year, but the firm has pulled out of talks. An insider said: “We are not so interested anymore. We are looking at lots of famous women to maybe be the face.”

She was expected to sign a contract by week’s end - a million-dollar rehabilitation for the cancelled contract from rival cosmetics house Christian Dior some months ago.Roberts is not the only star that make-up giant Avon will have promoting their products.
‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ star Salma Hayek is already on their books. However, she will reportedly be getting just $1 million for her efforts.
