Nowadays, when clothes with built-in iPod controls are becoming common, it is still hard to imagine the apparel which will integrate electronics into fabrics without any visible traces, at nano-level, to react to body temperature and to display your favorite movie on T-shirts.
But the experts from LCF reported that they already had those designs under development, Of course, none of the innovations are available for sale, but here’s the hopes that it will change soon.

According to Sandy Black, a Reader in fashion and textiles at the LCF, digital jewellery, being portable and tiny, has the best chances to reach shop counters. As for the clothes, they are promised to be able to survive machine washing even being integrated withing the fabrics. Another possible products we will see soon are temperature-sensible cushions or rugs which can become a good purchase for the elder people.

PC pro quoted the passage from paper work of Philip Delamore, a Research Fellow at London College of Fashion, to highlight his vision of the invention: “As ‘fabric’ becomes the interface between body and environment it also becomes the point of interaction between the person and technology. ‘We are entering an exciting period of convergence where materials play an important role not just as decoration, but as mediator”.
